Elizabeth Quinn-Worrall’s paintings exude a dynamic energy, unique creativity and a profound insight into the adventures and mysteries of life. She is passionate about expressing the physical and metaphysical relationships of human existence in all its multi-dimensional aspects. Through her innate sense of the ever changing forces constantly in action in our lives, she creates bold compositions with resonating color, movement and textures that allow the viewer an individual and thought provoking journey into the deeper truths and intangible secrets of our realities. Elizabeth’s growth and evolution as an artist began nearly eighteen years ago as she sought creative expression to balance the demands of marriage, family, work and home responsibilities. She learned to create in a spontaneous, vivid and immediate manner which involved her strong emotions and reactions to her life’s journey. Through constant self exploration, workshops, classes,involvement in arts organizations and finally the completion of her degree in studio arts, she has honed her personal and unique approach to painting. She currently paints with oils, acrylics and mixed media on canvas and board and considers her work to be contemporary abstract expressionism. She continues to study all aspects of painting and historical art. Frequently, she exhibits in individual and group exhibitions. She is a member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters; National Women in the Arts; Tucson Museum of Art; Tubac Center of Arts and Contemporary Artists of Southern AZ.
